Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Pipeline Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, a passion for design and construction, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.

– Develop detailed engineering designs and plans using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.

– Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.

– Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and compliance with all regulations.

– Oversee construction activities and manage project site operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

– Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and provide technical support as needed.

– Prepare reports and documentation for project stakeholders, including progress reports, specifications, and as-built drawings.

– Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.

– Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in civil engineering.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

– Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification is a plus.

– 12 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record of successful project management.

– Strong proficiency in engineering design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.

– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

– Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to civil engineering and construction.

– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
