Job Objectives:
- To carry out project development activities and to support the successful delivery of projects in line with the time (schedule) and cost agreed upon with the client, maximising the use of its available resources.
- To carry out business development activities and support business activities geared towards growth in revenue generation by identifying leads, developing relationships, and creating awareness for our portfolio of services until a commitment to purchase is achieved.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out project development activities to include planning, management, and coordination of all activities in small to medium sized projects, from conception through to commissioning
- Complete responsibility for a portion of a larger project, reporting to Project Manager
- Carry out all Project Coordinator duties for the projects assigned.
- Carry out all Project Engineer duties.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate multidiscipline project execution strategies and program and coordinate their implementation.
- Monitor project resource levels and report any shortage or excess.
- Ensure every document generated by the project resources allocated is prepared, checked, and approved in accordance with the company’s quality management systems.
- Take responsibility for the timely completion of projects assigned while meeting all project quality and budget objectives.
- Support the formulation, execution and monitoring of company’s business development, market penetration strategies and operating plans for enhancing business growth and operational efficiency
- Assist in the development of new and existing businesses/markets for the company’s product and services
- Generate proactive, market intelligence and lead generation from current and potential clients.
- Assist in the development of business relationships with the relevant stakeholders within the industry, as well as the regulatory bodies
- Identify business opportunities and projects through the daily media (digital and print)
- Prepare proposals to clients in various areas of the company interest
- Prepare bids: response to client tenders either soft or hard copies
- Meeting with contacts for bids tendered for or about to be tendered
- Coordinate and implement customer driven processes and practices
- Monitor industry trends and report to determine the potential of new and existing businesses
- Conduct market intelligence to access potential jobs
- Submission and follow up of tenders and business proposals
- Perform any other duties as may be required by management

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 5-7 years relevant work experience
