Pipeline Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of pipeline systems and related mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and refine engineering designs for pipeline systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

– Conduct stress analysis, flow analysis, and thermal analysis of pipeline systems and components.

– Utilize engineering software for design and modeling.

– Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

– Prepare and review technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and engineering calculations.

– Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and scheduling.

– Provide technical support during construction and installation of pipeline systems.

– Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with engineering designs and standards.

– Participate in safety and environmental assessments for pipeline projects.

– Implement best practices for quality control and assurance in line with regulatory requirements.

– Conduct inspections and testing of pipeline systems to ensure reliability and safety.

– Prepare and present technical information to internal and external stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

– 12 years of experience in pipeline engineering, mechanical design, or related areas.

– Strong understanding of pipeline design standards – Proficiency in engineering design software and modeling tools.

– Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
